Intelligent Software Solutions Selected For $249 Million U.S. Air Force Command and Control/Information Services Software Contract

Intelligent Software Solutions (ISS) has been selected as a prime contractor for a $249 million U.S. Air Force Command and Control Applications and Information Services Development (C2AD) contract. ISS is one of seven prime contractors selected for the Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract.

The five year delivery order contract, through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., will support the replacement of Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS), as well as development of Air Force C2 applications and information services for air, space, and cyberspace domains. It will address needs across the full software lifecycle, from concept development through fielding and sustainment.

The work will provide architecture and functionality improvements, vastly improving warfighter productivity compared to existing systems that in some instances are leveraging technology initially fielded more than a decade ago.

“By selecting ISS as a prime contractor for this important program, the Air Force showed its confidence in ISS, which has provided the Air Force with critical command and control software and applications around the world for many years,” said Marcus Featherston, Vice President, C2ISR Systems of ISS. “Through this contract and others like it, we will continue to help the Air Force enhance its C2 and data fusion capabilities well into the future.”

The C2AD Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract has seven prime contractors, including ISS. Team ISS includes Accenture Federal Services, The Boeing Company, ThalesRaytheonSystems, LLC, Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems, Data Tactics Corporation, Tactical Communications Group, LLC, and Triquetra Technologies. The Team brings broad talents in air, space, and cyberspace C2 domain experience, SOA expertise, NATO coalition support, Joint and Combined operations, TBMCS expertise, data link integration, cyber mission assurance, cross domain solution engineering as well as military aircraft and Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) operations.
